Alison is a special education teacher who promotes success and independence in learners of all ages. She has a rich background in education and a passion for supporting students to overcome challenges in both academic and social-emotional domains.

Throughout her career as an educator, she has demonstrated a commitment to understanding and supporting students with diverse learning needs. Her dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment has earned her a reputation for making a meaningful difference in the lives of her students.

Alison uses the C&C Empowerment Coaching model to support clients as they build their Executive Function Skills and increase their independence. With a firm belief in the potential of every learner, Alison is a Coach who empowers students to unlock their full capabilities.

Her education includes two Master’s Degrees in Special Education, one with a concentration in School Counseling, as well as a B.A. in Liberal Arts with an Elementary Education concentration.

In her free time, Alison enjoys spending time at the lake or on the beach with her husband and two sons, taking walks with her Goldendoodle, and reading.

Carrie is a Certified Executive Function Coach, helping students who are struggling with time management, planning, and prioritizing tasks build an organization system, and guiding them as they navigate the transition from high school to college or workplace. Holding a Master’s degree in genetics, and a recipient of the Mary Hull Honorary award for excellence in her work with secondary students, she has supported dozens of teens and young adults as they overcome barriers and harness their strengths toward achieving their academic and vocational goals. Carrie’s background also includes experience in community outreach and communications, and she enjoys engaging parents, caregivers, and school staff when appropriate to build momentum toward student success.

Carrie’s coaching approach is holistic and starts with a consistent and supportive relationship, creating a foundation of trust. Her sessions focus on strategies that are practical and personalized, with real-world follow-through. She walks alongside her clients as they create daily routines, practice skills, and build accountability. At the core, she sees executive function skills as the roots of a tree; they are the groundwork for everything else. Developing these skills can positively impact all areas of a person’s life.

Outside of coaching, Carrie enjoys spending time in nature, hanging out with family and friends, traveling to learn about people and culture, cooking, and engaging with art.

Jessica is the Director of Academic Support and a Learning Specialist with 25 years of experience in Education. She has an M.Ed. with Reading Specialist degree and an Ed.D. in Ed Leadership and Special Education. She is passionate about empowering students with learning differences and focuses on research-driven instructional practices. Jessica specializes in guiding students in executive function skills to ensure academic independence and success.

Drawing on decades of experience in secondary schools, higher education, and educational consulting, Jessica partners with students, families, and educators to build practical systems for organization, time management, self-advocacy, and confidence. She believes that every student can develop the strategies needed to thrive when provided with individualized support and evidence-based coaching. Jessica is committed to staying at the forefront of executive function research and translating it into meaningful, real-world success for students.

Jessica is the mom to 3 young adults and loves traveling with them. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending her summers in Maine.

Lauren is passionate about helping learners of all ages build confidence, independence and success. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and has experience supporting individuals with ADHD, autism, social-emotional needs and a variety of learning differences. Lauren is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where every learner feels understood, empowered, and capable of reaching their goals. Using the C&C Empowerment Coaching model, Lauren helps clients strengthen their executive functioning skills and develop greater independence. She brings a warm, encouraging approach and a strong belief that every learner has the ability to grow and succeed. Outside of coaching, Lauren has run 2 marathons, enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, going for walks and spending time at the lake or on Cape Cod with her family and friends.

Sarah Zeilstra is a Certified Executive Function Coach with over 27 years of experience as a teacher, academic advisor, and student advocate. Holding a Master’s in Education Leadership, and a recipient of the NISOD Award for Excellence in Teaching, she has dedicated her career to empowering students to develop internal accountability and resilience, enabling them to manage their workloads effectively and achieve academic success.​

Sarah's coaching approach is transformative and strengths-based, focusing on equipping students with practical executive function strategies tailored to their unique needs. Her expertise encompasses areas such as organization, prioritization, time management, and communication skills. By fostering a growth mindset, she helps students overcome overwhelm, navigate academic challenges, and build confidence.

As a lifelong learner and passionate educator, Sarah believes that mindset develops skillset. Her commitment to student success is evident in her personalized coaching sessions. Using the C&C Empowerment Coaching model Sarah supports students in developing the executive function skills necessary to thrive both in school and beyond.

Outside of coaching, Sarah loves art, journaling, sewing, and relaxing by the beach with her husband and two children.

Shannon holds an M.Ed. in School Counseling from Rivier University and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. With over nine years of experience in educational settings, Shannon has worked extensively both in classrooms and in one-on-one and group counseling sessions, providing holistic support to students and families alike. She brings her expertise as a certified mindfulness practitioner to her work, helping clients stay focused and present.

Shannon is passionate about tailoring her approach to each client’s unique needs, using personal interests and intrinsic motivation to guide them toward success. She places a high value on creating a positive, encouraging atmosphere in each session, working alongside her clients to develop the executive function skills they need to thrive academically and in life. Following the C&C Empowerment Coaching model, Shannon provides personalized support that empowers clients to build confidence and self-management skills.

Outside of coaching, Shannon enjoys reading, exploring New England’s best coffee shops, and spending time with her newborn son, identical twin daughters, and husband.
